*Description*
Our customer is a top manufacturing customer in the update area of SC and North American Headquarters is in Greenville, SC. We have been working with them since 2008. As part of the deployment process, this person will need to be able to open the source code and address any bugs/issues. The code is written in C# with Oracle on the backend and are WinForms applications. The applications are bolt-ons to applications that collect data from the mixing lines, manages temps, computes top losses and causes, manages overall equipment efficiency, tire building machines, extruders, and calendars (makes steel belt reinforcements and radials). They will also be working with programs/applications that are interfacing the middleware and automatic retrieval systems and other manufacturing operations. Primarily this is .NET, C# and SQL. They also interact with STUDO that is PHP, interfacing with JSON data structures. Will need to modify, enhance or potentially from time to time to create from scratch and start up a system. Any experience with PLC's and manufacturing would be a bonus. Ideal candidates will have the technical/development experience and also be interested in the business aspects of the project. This position may require travel up to 25% of the time. Travel will be mostly related to traveling to the different sites to gather requirements, training, or go live activity. There will be some months with no travel and then some months with up to 50% travel. Candidates must have a valid passport or be able to obtain one at the start of the contract because the potential for international travel exists. This person may be required to travel to France or Brazil for proprietary training on the application.
