A postdoctoral research associate position is available inProf. Baoxing Xu's groupin the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will work on a project on flexible electronic devices for biomedical applications and will also be expected to participate in the development of project reports, proposals,and technical papers. QUALIFCATION REQUIRMENTS: A Ph.D. degree in engineering, including but not limited to, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials science, and chemical engineering is required by the start date. Candidates must have a strong background in design and fabrication of flexible electronics. Experience in 3D printing of soft materials is a plus. The candidate will actively collaborate with clinical and biomedical team members and thus good writing and communication skills are required.
