We have an Electrical Power Engineer opportunity in Calabasas, CA. This Engineer will be on scoping, quoting, and executing electrical engineering and control system projects. This person will also be designing, implementing, analyzing, and commissioning systems-including data collection, protection and control relays, controls, and communication systems-used in power generation and industrial markets for the generation and distribution of electricity. Project Responsibilities The qualified applicant will be prepared to grow into leading efforts to bring new clients to Wunderlich-Malec and lead the technical execution of projects under the guidance of the senior engineer. The ability to relate positively to customers in a flexible and responsive manner is required. Communication skills (in English) are required for customer, sub contractor and co-worker interaction. Clear written and verbal skills are a key prerequisite. Travel to and some work at remote locations is a component of the project tasks. Domestic and international travel is required. Engineering Responsibilities Engineering of the design, development, and implementation including software, hardware, and systems design integration of the various components on any given project under the guidance of a senior engineer.
