From installations and precision maintenance to structural repairs and troubleshooting, your mechanical expertise will directly support our mission-critical production processes. Your role as the Millwright: In your capacity as a Millwright at American Ordnance, you are tasked with a variety of essential functions designed to optimize and maintain equipment performance. This role extends beyond mere repairs, as you will be a driving force in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our production lines. Daily responsibilities include: Installing and adjusting machinery according to design specifications, while strictly adhering to safety protocols to promote a secure work environment. Conducting preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational effectiveness. Rebuilding pumps and cylinders, expertly diagnosing and rectifying mechanical issues that may arise. Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematic drawings to execute your tasks with precision and foresight. Utilizing precision measurement tools to clean, inspect, and maintain presses and tooling, ensuring that everything meets our exacting standards. Collaborating with colleagues to construct and repair essential building structures, such as overhead doors and jib cranes, contributing to team efforts to meet project deadlines. We value transparency and, in line with state pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $31.50 - $33.16.
