Description DESCRIPTION: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for set-up and tear down of special events and internal/external cleaning of venues. Incumbents will need to set up tables, chairs, and pipe and drape according to layout plans provided by customers. This position requires working evening, weekend, and late/overnight shifts. JOB DUTIES : Placement and set up of tables, chairs, pipe and drape, and audiovisual equipment in accordance with floor layout plans. Performs internal/external facility housekeeping before and after special events. Operates floor cleaning equipment and utilizes other tools as required. Utilizes ladders to perform interior and exterior housekeeping. Performs related duties as assigned. *PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A REGULAR PART-TIME POSITION THAT WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FILLED. CUSTOMER SERVICE BASICS AND PRIOR EVENT SET UP EXPERIENCE ARE PREFERRED.* Example of Duties KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE : Ability to follow oral and written directions/instructions. Knowledge of safety and operation of cleaning equipment. Ability to safely operate and utilize ladders. Ability to lift/carry tables and chairs. Ability to set up and break down tables, audiovisual equipment, video screen, and assemble/disassemble pipe and drape. TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS: Event set-up experience preferred but not required. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Typical Qualifications JOB CONDITIONS : Inside and outside environment. Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting. Nights and weekends availability required. Performs duties under general supervision. Incumbents may be subjected to bloodborne pathogens.
