Duties will be performed within the minimum approach distance of energized utility lines and critical infrastructure. Supervisor Duties: No Pay:$37.00/hr - $45.00/hr Responsibilities and Requirements: 
 
     
 Work within a safety team to complete tasks and program requirementsAssist the Safety Supervisor or Manager as requiredAssist in creating documents and training for company safety programs and policiesImplement and monitor company safety programs and policiesPresent trainings, briefings, and presentations.Maintain requirements and certification to work within the minimum approach distance of energized utility linesMaintain knowledge of applicable OSHA, ANSI, and vendor safety requirementsAssist when required by the Safety Supervisor, Safety Manager, or Management in conducting investigations (root cause analysis), notifications and creating reports of safety incidents or violationsAttend incident, safety and investigation meetings as requiredCoach crews on safety practices and when safety violations are identified. Write up safety violations are required.Maintain knowledge of safe tree trimming and vegetation management practicesMaintain knowledge of safe heavy equipment operationsConduct in the field assessments of crews, equipment, and proceduresAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on safety programs, training, and evaluations as neededConduct risk assessments and apply mitigation techniquesUtilize safety software and programs to report and track compliance with vendor, state, and federal requirements.Conduct trend analysis of industry and company safety incidents and violationsMust be able to work outdoors, year-round in varying environmentsMust be able to work in, around and amongst poisonous plants and noxious vegetationOther tasks as required

 This position is expected to travel to project sites and locations within California (Operating Area)
 
 Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 
 
     
 Education: High School DiplomaExperience: 3-5 years of experience in Utility line clearance and Right-of-Way (ROW) vegetation management operationsISA Certified Arborist or ISA Certified Utility Arborist (ISA)Certified Tree Safety Professional (CTSP)OSHA 30Bilingual in Spanish highly desiredValid Driver License
