Landscape Architect Project Manager - Atlanta, GA

Halff is seeking a Landscape Architect Project Manager in the Atlanta office. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers, and others to provide management on a wide variety of public and private landscape architecture and planning projects.

Projects emphasis includes park, recreation and trail planning and design; urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements; land development; and support for planning on public and private sector projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to help clients plan, design, and implement projects.

Landscape Architect Project Manager Requirements:

Ability to work with design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through construction.
Foster and promote a positive, team-oriented environment and office culture.
Ability to lead teams to complete projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
Knowledgeable in the production of CD sets including GDOT, hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packages.
Experience in master planning of parks, trails, and recreation is a plus.
Experience with GDOT landscape design a plus.
Experience with construction methodologies and implementation.
Well organized, detail oriented and highly motivated.
Manage multiple projects of various scale and complexity simultaneously.
Be able to anticipate the needs of clients and projects.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Have excellent design skills.
Be proficient with computer applications including AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Landscape Architect Project Manager Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
Florida registration as a Professional Landscape Architect, or the ability to acquire registration within a year period.
5 years of experience demonstrating leadership skills, minimum, as a Professional Landscape Architect.
Familiarity preparing proposal/scope of work documents and reviewing invoices/submitting.
Ability to travel periodically, primarily in state, to support project needs.
