How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:
As part of the health care team, performs basic clerical and technical clinical services relating to the care, cleanliness, safety and comfort for patients of all ages. Provides quality service through a team oriented, collaborative approach to patient care.

Stock and organize supplies in assigned pod/patient rooms to ensure readiness. -
Maintain a clean and orderly clinic environment by removing clutter and organizing materials. -
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards in assigned areas. -
Manage the disposal of regulated medical waste in accordance with guidelines. -
Place and follow up on orders for necessary supplies or materials. -
Provide directions and general assistance to patients navigating the clinic or facility. -
Schedule and reschedule patient appointments as needed. -
Perform clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and printing of documents. -
Support specialty classes for surgical patients, including checking in participants, handing out materials, and providing direction (may occur onsite or at the SIM lab). -
Assist with patient rooming and discharge processes within scope (limited to taking vital signs). -
Navigate and document within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. -
Conduct patient phone calls as directed for follow-ups or scheduling. -
Assist peers with delegated tasks that fall within the liaison's scope of practice. -
Offer support to team members during high-volume clinic days. -
Communicate wait time updates to patients as necessary. -
Update daily assignment extensions to reflect pod seating arrangements.
What We Require:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent education required. Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience: 2 years customer services industry experience. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
Licensure, certification and/or registration: Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
Life Support: Must successfully complete AHA BLS-HCP within 6 months of hire.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Must be customer driven, have strong grammar, spelling and punctuation skills, knowledge of medical terminology, knowledge of office procedures and equipment, proficiency in computer data entry/keyboarding, ability to use electronic medical records and good organizational, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
