Qualifications

***Experience in a residential facility a plus***

BCBA Responsibilities:

* Assessment: Conducts a minimum of 2 comprehensive assessments to identify the client's needs and goals. (FBA as needed)

* Plan Development: Creates individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

* Supervision: Supervises RBTs, providing training, guidance, and ongoing support.

* Data Analysis: Regularly reviews and analyzes data to measure client progress and adjust plans.

o Collects graphed behavioral Data from RBT and interprets data for medical chart using Interpretive Data Document

* Provide Weekly Parent Trainings and Document findings into medical Chart

* Lead Treatment Team meetings with all updates

* Weekly meetings with RBT and Social worker to collaborate on Treatment 3x weekly

* Quarterly Fidelity Checks

Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Minimum of a master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis
  • Certified and maintain credentialing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a BCBA in good standing.

The ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills; legible handwriting; ability to maintain information as highly confidential; telephone etiquette and customer service skills by phone and face-to-face; familiarity with medical and psychological terminology preferred; skills in dealing courteously with the public and other staff within the organization; skills in prioritizing and in managing time; problem-solving skills; use of appropriate social skills, including demonstration and respect for staff and patients; empathy toward children and adolescents; basic knowledge of child growth and development preferred; experience working with children with autism; skill in following behavioral plans necessary; able to respond to children/adolescents in a consistent and caring manner, consistent in maintaining professional boundaries; willingness to seek supervision in this regard when necessary.
