Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Applications Engineer to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • * Provide frontline support to field technicians for testing, troubleshooting, and validating security hardware and devices
  • * Address and resolve service tickets by performing troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks on security field devices
  • * Conduct service and repairs on production servers, including routine system updates, OS upgrades, and hardware replacements such as hard drives
  • * Maintain and manage Milestone Video Management Systems (VMS), including software updates, device packs, firmware upgrades, camera troubleshooting, and device additions, removals, or replacements
  • * Ensure operational integrity of Lenel security management systems, including applications, panels, and reader devices
  • * Perform maintenance and repairs on Lenel panels and readers, including panel upgrades, firmware updates, and device replacements or modifications
  • * Maintain and service electronic key management systems including Traka and Keywatcher solutions
  • * Provide maintenance and support for Iris scanning technology
  • * Collaborate with the Global Security team to support key projects involving operating system updates, comprehensive system audits, and execution of large-scale technology deployments and upgrades


Basic Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in security systems support and maintenance, specifically with Milestone VMS, Lenel Access Control systems, and electronic key management solutions
  • Solid understanding of security device hardware, troubleshooting techniques, and firmware/software updates
  • Experience with Windows Server environments and hardware maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritize workloads
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders


Preferred Skills:



  • Certification in Milestone and Lenel systems highly preferred
  • Familiarity with Iris scanning technologies and electronic key management systems
  • Experience in conducting system audits and participating in large-scale deployment projects
