JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will be for the 2025 Fall Semester.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Centerstone is looking for a bachelor's level student intern in the Health and Human Services field (social work, counseling, psychology, etc.) to join our team. We are looking for someone to engage in the following types of work: direct care with clients, community outreach, client engagement, and other tasks or projects as they evolve. Centerstone will work with the student to further their education, provide supervision, and practice applying theories from the classroom to real life experience. This position will work with families who have children up to age eight.

WORK SCHEDULE:
* Working hours are between 8:00AM-5:00 PM Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 9:00am-6:00PM Tuesday and Thursday.
* Internship is hybrid format.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Working toward a bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, or related field
* Demonstrated history of being able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication skills
* Must be able to commit to 20-40 hours a week

BENEFITS FOR THE STUDENT:
Students will have hands-on experience interacting with clients. Students will have the opportunity to enhance professional skills by participating in behavior modification with families who have children up to age eight. Students will learn to navigate community resources and participate in clinical treatment teams.

OTHER INFORMATION:
If selected, students will be guided to fulfill a background check and provide five references.
This is an unpaid internship.
