Title: Field Archaeologist

Location: Seattle-Tacoma

Job Type: Part-time Flex

What's the Opportunity?

Join Anchor QEA's cultural resources team on a part-time flex assignment to augment capacity for field archaeology assignments.

Responsibilities:

This work will include preparing site plans, conducting fieldwork (survey and monitoring), and preparing field summary reports.

What Are We Looking For?

Ideal candidates will have the following:



  • Master's degree (or bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience) in anthropology, archaeology, or a closely related field;
  • Credentials that meet Secretary of Interior's Standard for Archaeology and Historic Preservation.
  • Experience managing project tasks and as part of field team for cultural resource investigations
  • Experience preparing field summaries, reports and mapping for archaeological surveys and monitoring.
