Job Description: Job Description: This candidate will start out in the shipping dept doing, shipping, picking, wrapping pallets & loading trucks. Sit down forklift, pallet jacks and cherry pickers (go up in the air) will be used to pick products. The lifting requirement is 75-100 lbs. Outdoor picking (on small occasions) will be required as well. This candidate will eventually be trained in all areas of the warehouse. The HM is looking for the candidate to be motivated, driven and be able to work at a fast pace. Need to be able to stand for long periods, Lift approx 75lbs. This is a temp position filling in for a LOA and will last 8-12 weeks or possibly longer.
Qualifications: A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred. Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it. Forklift Operator experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities: Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material. Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times. Job duties may or may not be aligned with the following positions- Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate Comments for Suppliers: 8-5 Mon-Fri with an unpaid 30 minute lunch. | |
