Under direction from the Director of Sales or National Sales Manager, manage sales of Bradley products in a specific region or other assigned major geographic areas. Spearhead regional growth strategy by identifying growth opportunities, building new and existing business relationships, and developing sales goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve Bradley's consolidated established yearly sales goals and profit margins.

  • Manage a group of independent sales representatives in a defined territory for all applicable channels.

  • Develop and implement annual sales strategies, goals and quotas for a given territory.

  • Develop annual strategies, goals, and quotas by product class with each sales rep group in the territory.

  • Build awareness and grow specifications of all relevant Bradley products by ensuring all territory reps and customers are sufficiently knowledgeable and trained on Bradley products and procedures.

  • Develop annual strategies, goals, and quotas with targeted distribution partners and the appropriate territory rep.

  • Identify, build and maintain strong relationships and growth opportunities with targeted wholesalers and distributors.

  • Implement sales actions of the Product line strategic plan and effectively launch all new products.

  • Establish self as Lead Salesperson for designated sales targets, internally and externally.

  • Work with marketing to develop effective sales programs and incentives.

  • Produce and deliver sales reports to the rep force.

  • Evaluate overall market potential for designated Bradley products.

  • Participate in trade shows as needed.

  • Present periodic territory reports to management.

  • Travel 65% of time.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.

  • 5+ years of sales experience in building business relationships.

  • Proven ability to identify key targets and make cold calls.

  • Working knowledge of the construction and/or bid spec market is highly preferred.

  • Must be willing and able to travel 65% of the time.

  • Must have experience presenting to large groups of people.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.Must be capable of defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.

Adaptability: Receptive to change. Providing a positive influence when change is necessary.

Planning: Prioritizing and planning work activities, setting goals and objectives and planning for additional resources as needed; developing realistic action plans.

Initiative: Self- directed and action oriented.

Selling Ability: Persuasive ability to "sell" a position or viewpoint.

The pay range for this position is: $116,000 - $139,000 + Quarterly Sales Bonus.

The actual starting salary offered may vary within the posted range depending on multiple factors including geographical location, job-related experience/knowledge, and internal equity.
