Job Overview The Manager of Production Management Team (Fashion PDP- Men/Kids) has the critical role as a leader in support of the Macy's Operation Plan. This Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality, efficiency and optimization of the overall process and maintenance of Men/Kids workflow and PDP content that gets onboarded to the Macy's site. This role requires excellent communication with on and offshore teams, organizational, and multi-tasking skills due to the management of multiple overlapping projects that need constant overview. If there are any pertinent topics that need to be evaluated or escalated due to system failures, sample issues, photography delays, creative input, style-outs, etc, the Manager must start troubleshooting and provide timely updates to their direct leadership. What You Will Do Responsible for ensuring PDP content & attribution is onboarded to meet Macy's standards * Responsible for partnering with 3rd parties and managing offshore resources to complete PDP workflows * Manage close out of projects and analyze content & attribution reporting - coaching teams, where improvements are needed * Establish and maintain PDP photography standards - partnering with internal teams to ensure standards are being maintained and shared with vendors * Responsible for the supervision, orchestration, and/or advisement of project workflows by leading photo production. * Responsible for the photo production schedule, streamlining workflows and increasing efficiencies across the team. * Lead or actively support the adoption of new company systems and process initiatives. * Establish and maintain an accessible relationship with all Business Partners including Site Merchandising, Merchandising, Photography, Design, Account Services, Account Executives, Sample Mgmt, Merchant Teams, etc. * Manage projects through all production's processes to ensure that timelines and job specifications are met. * Strong understanding of marketing calendars and plans (seasonal and annual). * Work closely with Account Services/Executives and Producers to ensure workflows stay on schedule while acting as the day-to-day contact for ongoing projects. * Strategically manage through risk and make recommendations for best possible solutions. Partner with Direct Manager to revise scheduling and set priorities. Attend and/or lead Style-Outs, presentations, creative meetings, and maintain status updates. * Understand and manage the financial implications of changes to content/assets; make recommendations accordingly. * Keep all teams informed of project status and proactively communicate any challenges that put a project at risk; approach challenges in a timely manner while identifying obstacles prior to team members being impacted Critical PDP Function: This manager directly leads the majority of Elevated PDP Projects for special project initiatives for Men/Kids of high visibility including Private Brand launches, Hero Looks, Influencer Collaborations (Maluma), holiday initiatives such as Father's Day, Back to School, Men's Spring/ Fall Tailored Clothing, Easter, and Family Holiday Pajamas, etc. Elevated PDP is a higher budget than the standard photography, so more attention to detail is needed. This requires additional oversight and attention that is not needed in BAU PDP projects and heavily relies on the Manager to be the main lead. * Lead kick off meetings to review project logistics. * Lead Monthly meetings with both Merchant and LIC creative leaders for alignment on timing and budget. * Set up "Style Out" PDP meetings for presentation of identified samples to be shot along with creative discussions. * Create/ maintain tracking documentation of benchmarks and volume. * Process Stella (PDP application) turn-in meetings with extra guidance to Merchant assistants when needed Skills You Will Need Project Management: Ability to manage marketing campaigns and priorities from strategy planning to creative delivery, ensuring all deadlines are met and projects are completed successfully. Workflow Management: Skill in developing and managing end-to-end workflows for all media, collaborating effectively with various stakeholders including Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Site Merchandising, and others. Problem-solving: Capacity to formulate and implement solutions for unexpected roadblocks, leveraging technical expertise and a thorough understanding of processes. Leadership and Mentorship: Ability to lead and mentor direct reports, providing guidance to the larger team as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work comfortably with cross-functional multi-level teams and strong interpersonal skills. Independence and Initiative: Capability to work independently within a multi-functional, multi-campus team with minimal supervision, being self-motivated, and able to escalate issues as needed. Print and Digital Knowledge: Understanding of print workflow and technologies applied to digital projects. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Photoshop and other relevant data management systems. Organization and Coordination: Strong multitasking, organization, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, essential for managing multiple projects effectively. Who You Are
