Staffmark is hiring a reliable and experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator in Fife, WA

Pay & Schedule:



  • Pay Rate: $21.50/hr
  • Schedule: Monday - Saturday
  • Start Times Vary: Between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM (must be flexible)
  • Shift Length: 5-8 hours depending on workload



Responsibilities:



  • Operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack Gaylords/mail within the warehouse and load/unload trucks
  • Assist with manual sorting of mail and general warehouse duties as needed
  • Inspect deliveries, ensure proper handling of packages, and maintain safe work practices
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with supervisors
  • Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a clean, organized work environment



Requirements:



  • At least 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
  • 6+ months of warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, walk, and stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility with scheduling
  • Commitment to maintaining good attendance and working well under pressure
