Basic Function

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking a Technical Analyst in Dallas, TX.

Job Duties

Support the design and implementation of mid-sized technical solution projects within the IT Department of a petroleum refining and distribution company to improve operational efficiency, data management, and business process automation in line with the company's overall business objectives. Leverage Evolve, a low code tool, to create adaptive online forms and assessments to enable efficient management and execution of digital forms. Use PowerApps, a Microsoft low code tool for building custom applications, to streamline business workflows and automate processes. Work with Winshuttle to automate SAP data management and with Precisely to ensure seamless data flow between systems, optimizing data integration across databases. Utilize Appian, a low-code automation platform, to automate business processes, enhancing overall efficiency. Collaborate with computer support specialists and software developers to develop business rules to manage the flow of information among project workgroups. Responsible for developing, gathering, and disseminating technical information through the organization's communication channels, ensuring that key stakeholders are informed about ongoing projects and technical updates, contributing to improved efficiency across the company's operations in the energy industry. Assists with the development of forms such as Evolve and Power Apps, and workflow using low code tools like Winshuttle, Precisely, and Appian; develops forms with APl's to SAP and other external systems; contributes to the evaluation and implementation of technical solutions for assigned process or process changes; works on delivery of mid-sized projects and changes and delivers a viable solution; reviews inbound process issues and determines best solution approaches using a combination of people training, transformation, process updates, service improvements and technology changes; supports converting high-level business process requirements into specifications and delivery of a solution; adheres to SOX compliance and additional governance relevant for tools; collaborates in building business rules based on the specifications and user requirements; performs development activities within authorized projects; performs process FIT/GAP analysis; creates various reports and documents in low code tools, SAP, Excel, or Word. Position reports to the Employer's Dallas, TX office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Experience

Five (5) years of experience in a related occupation in each of the following: utilizing workflow and development tools including Winshuttle, Evolve and Power Apps; applying knowledge of limitations and capabilities of computer systems and techniques used in the design of automated systems; developing business applications utilizing tools including Winshuttle, Evolve, Power Apps, and data integration workflow; integration using webservices (Rest or Soap APls); form development; and utilizing SQL technology.

Education Level

Bachelor of Science degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, or closely related field.
