Property and Casualty Insurance Representative

Are you a customer-focused insurance professional looking to advance your career? Staffmark is seeking a Property and Casualty Insurance Representative to join a reputable insurance agency in Monroe, LA. This temp-to-hire role is perfect for individuals with at least one year of industry experience and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Base Salary: $30,000 - $45,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Support clients with policy inquiries, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements
• Provide accurate information on policy coverage, terms, and insurance requirements
• Process documentation related to new policies, changes, and claims
• Collaborate with underwriters, adjusters, and other professionals to resolve client issues
• Maintain detailed records of all client interactions
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell insurance products
• Respond to customer concerns and complaints with professionalism
• Conduct outbound marketing and cold calls to generate leads
• Stay updated on industry regulations, products, and company procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree a plus)
• Active Louisiana Property & Casualty Insurance License (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance customer service or sales
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
