*Description*
-Manage medical records requests and receiving by utilizing outbound and incoming fax and email correspondence, system research, and provider portals. -Ensure that the medical records flow is organized, accurate and complete. -Ensure the appropriate clinical staff receives medical records for their assigned cases and updates in a timely manner and according to established practices, workflow processes, and departmental needs. -Outbound calls to providers and facilities as warranted. -Adhere to production metrics across all job functions. -Serve as a subject matter expert on medical records flow. -Actively participate as a member of a team and provide input to assure that quality standards and continuous quality improvement activities are met. -This person will be working within various EMR systems, toggling between multiple at the same time. -Working with the providers on any follow up needed for the medical records. They will have to call out to the provider to clarify any information that may be missing. *Qualifications* 3+ years of medical records coordinator experience 3+ years working with multiple EMR systems. *Acrobat Adobe and Microsoft Excel experience for medical records management is non-negotiable * Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to effectively apply and demonstrate workflow instructions and successfully meet turn-around-time expectations. Strong MS Office Suite skills. Knowledge of mainframe, web-based applications, and populating data into MS Access databases and other systems/applications. Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills; ability to express moderate to complex issues to individuals, groups, internal and external contacts, and write clear, concise and grammatically correct materials. Strong organizational, research, and analytical skills. *Hours* Fully remote work environment. Flexible schedule but rough start time of 8AM to 5PM CST. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $25.50/hr.
