Job Description: Desktop Engineer *Job Title:*
Desktop Engineer *Job Description:* A skilled Desktop Engineer is needed to join a dynamic team. We are looking for an IT Professional with desktop engineering skills and a proven track record of working with various technologies. This role requires onsite presence for five days a week during the contract period, with increased flexibility upon transitioning to full-time employment. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Technical Proficiency:* Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Intune, PDQ, Auto Pilot Enrolled, Azure AD, PowerShell, and badge scripting. * *Issue Resolution:* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems and applications. * *Collaboration:* Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and improve desktop solutions. * *Patch Management:* Analyze Windows 10 & 11 or third-party application patches, apply missing patches to target systems while working with the end user, and validate that vulnerabilities have been mitigated using a vulnerability management tool. * *Troubleshooting:* Technically troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft Windows and third-party application patches not applying. * *Vulnerability Integration:* Integrate vulnerability scan data from Rapid7 into patch planning and remediation strategies. * *Reporting:* Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track patch compliance and provide visibility to IT leadership and auditors. *Required Skills:* * Proficiency in PowerShell, Active Directory, Desktop Engineering, PDQ, Auto Pilot, and Intune. *Additional Information:* * *Innovative Environment:* Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions. * *Supportive Culture:* Collaborative and supportive work environment. * *Competitive Package:* Competitive compensation and benefits package. * *Career Growth:* Career growth and development opportunities.
