Gallo is seeking an experienced and dynamic Ecommerce Category Capabilities Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated ecommerce analytics, category management, and capabilities. This role is essential in analyzing the health of our online business and implementing innovative solutions to enhance Gallo's competitive advantage, establishing a category leadership position with key customers. As an Ecommerce Category Capabilities Manager, you will be responsible for developing digital category management and shelf optimization capabilities. This involves analyzing online sales, distribution, and digital shelf ranking at both customer and aggregate levels, providing regular reports and insights to senior management. You will act as the subject matter expert for ecommerce data and analytics, gaining visibility into ecommerce business across customers and platforms for cohesive analysis. Your role will include driving best practices for data capture, structuring, tracking, and analytics, developing tools in partnership with IT, and creating playbooks for commercializing Gallo's ecommerce capabilities within the sales organization and with customers and third-party partners. You will leverage your knowledge of Gallo Category principles to manage online assortment and merchandising, ensuring the right mix of products to meet customer demand. Additionally, you will analyze market trends, customer behavior, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities. Conduct thorough analysis of existing ecommerce systems and processes, evaluating new digital vendors and platforms to develop foundational ecommerce capabilities, and support the development and execution of the ECommerce Test and Learn agenda. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including category development, ecommerce sales, digital shelf associates, and IT, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of new capabilities. You will manage digital shelf auditing vendors, perform digital shelf auditing, and develop playbooks for leveraging customer teams.
