We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate software engineer to join our growing team as we strive to deliver excellence to our customers. Typical Responsibilities The tools team customers are internal development teams, Business Analyst squads, and Quality Engineers. We support the software utilities and tools that allow other groups to be successful. The position entails being open-minded and flexible as the requirements change quickly. Every team we work with has their own priorities. This becomes challenging for us to balance everyone's number one priority. We participate in code reviews and encourage peers to be their best. LSEG is moving toward being a full DevOps software producer. Having previous experience with DevOps is a huge plus. The position requires knowledge of lots of computer languages. As well as working with the architecture team to innovate future proof solutions. It will be required to learn about the financial industryto understand the requirements of the other teams. Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 5 years of experience in software development. Confirmed experience with multiple computer languages (e.g., C#, C++) Proficiency in software methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Dev Ops). Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, DX1). Knowledge of databases and SQL. Ability to analyze and understand technical problems. Excellent communication and coalition skills. Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required) Knowledge of multiple scripting languages. (e.g., Python, Pearl) Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with automated testing frameworks. What we offer Extensive health and wellness coverage.
