Sr. Revenue Accountant

As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. You will be responsible for reviewing customer contracts, preparing revenue memos, and supporting cross-functional collaboration with Legal, SalesOps, and Deal Desk. We are seeking applicants with strong technical accounting skills, experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment, and the ability to apply accounting guidance in real-world scenarios.

• Review and analyze customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606.
• Prepare revenue memos and documentation to support complex or non-standard deal structures.
• Assist with the implementation and documentation of new revenue recognition policies and procedures.
• Partner with Legal, Sales, Deal Desk, and SalesOps to support contract structuring and ensure revenue compliance.
• Perform monthly revenue close tasks including preparing journal entries, revenue reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audit processes related to revenue accounting.
• Assist in system improvements or implementations related to revenue tools (e.g., RightRev, Kinetic, Salesforce).

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.
• Big 4 or public accounting experience is a strong plus.
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a revenue accounting or technical accounting role.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and its application to SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting customer contracts, MSAs, order forms, and SOWs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex accounting issues.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and revenue tools.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
