Your Team, Your Impact

At Marvell Technology, we develop and produce semiconductors and related technology, with a focus on data infrastructure solutions. As an Endpoint Security Engineer, you will be a key member of our Information Security (InfoSec) team, responsible for ensuring the security and operational integrity of our endpoint devices. Your role is pivotal in protecting our organization's sensitive data and assets, contributing to data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives within our Cyber Engineering division

What You Can Expect

  • Endpoint Security Management: Design, implement, and maintain endpoint security solutions, including antivirus and endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems.
  • Monitoring and Compliance: Monitor endpoint security metrics and performance, ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and standards.
  • Assessments and Audits: Conduct comprehensive endpoint security assessments and audits, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending remediation actions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT, network security, and other departments to ensure comprehensive endpoint security across all devices.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to end-users and IT staff on endpoint security best practices.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation, such as operational procedures, root cause analyses (RCA), and reports related to management, security, and audit requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Drive and measure optimal health and performance monitoring of endpoint security agents and sensors.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reporting, including assessment findings and recommendations for improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of proven experience with managing endpoint protection platforms.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrable hands-on experience in supporting EDR platforms; additional expertise in security technologies such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM).
  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Jscript, and knowledge of regular expressions.
  • Platform Proficiency: Experience with administrating a diverse set of physical and virtual platforms, including MS Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Security Strategies: Strong understanding of next-gen and traditional endpoint protection strategies and technologies.
  • Policy Management: Ability to maintain, test, and troubleshoot endpoint protection policies and rules.
  • Tool Familiarity: Experience in using various tools like Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) is a plus.
  • Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant identity-oriented standards, such as NIST 800-63 and ISO 27001.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail; ability to prioritize, drive others to action, deliver results, mentor, and develop technical skills in the team; excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

133,000 - 196,800, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
