Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scientific research and technical studies in alignment with DOE, DoD, and commercial contract requirements.
- Perform data analysis and interpret research results to support project goals and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, research summaries, and project documentation for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and environmental specialists, to ensure project success.
- Assist in the design and execution of experiments and field studies, ensuring adherence to best scientific practices.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring that milestones are met, and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant scientific fields and emerging trends to support innovation within the team.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, ethical research standards, and federal requirements related to DOE and DoD projects.
- Support project presentations, meetings, and client communications, providing technical insights as needed.
- Under work direction of senior personnel, performs conventional scientific tasks. Environmental data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Must have knowledge of environmental laws, programs, and policies, and procedures.

Education, Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or related scientific discipline (required).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in scientific research, with a focus on DOE or DoD-related projects (required).
- Strong experience in data collection, field sampling, data integrity, and analysis (required).
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and on large-scale projects (preferred).
- Familiarity with DOE and DoD regulatory standards (preferred).
- Must receive a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
