Position Summary

This posting is specifically for the UNM Summer semester (May/June - July/August)

The Office of Education is located in UNM Hospital, Internal Medicine (IM) Department and is responsible
for the IM Residency Program and Undergraduate Medical Education (Med. Students). This position will
provide administrative support to both programs, upper-level management, and assisting staff with the
daily demands of day-to-day operations. This would include basic office support, answering phones and
directing callers, greeting and directing visitors, answering questions, and performing routine clerical tasks
like data entry, sorting mail, sending basic correspondence, and maintaining databases. This position will
require attention to detail, time management, and regular coordination with department staff.


Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Student must be enrolled in Fall Courses.
  • Experienced with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to learn new software and data management systems.
  • Telephone skills.
  • Strong Customer Services Skills.
  • Strong Organizational skills.
  • Data Entry Skills.
  • Computer Skills (ex. dual-monitor navigation, keyboard shortcuts, web browser management)
