The Role:

Our Company is seeking an OEM Technician to join our team. The OEM Technician will be responsible for performing tasks related to building Ultra High Purity Systems and subassemblies in a class 100 cleanroom work environment. This will include, but not limited to; mechanical and electrical assembly based on engineering drawings and/or work instructions while wearing required cleanroom garments and protective equipment. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.

What You'll Do:

  • Works from instructions, drawings, schematics, piping and instrumentation drawings, illustrations, and process documentation to assemble a variety of mechanical, electrical subassemblies and systems with supervision.

  • Ability to work in Class 100 (ISO 5) environment wearing the appropriate required garments.

  • Ability to follow verbal instructions

  • Ability to build sub-assemblies with supervision

  • Install tube fittings using VCR, and Compression fittings with supervision

  • Follow engineering and customer requirement specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.

  • Performs routine, repetitive assembly operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.

  • Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety)

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments

  • Ability to work safely and recognize the safety of others.

  • Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.

  • Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.

  • Work with a team as well as independently when needed.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

What We Seek:

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • 0-2 years' experience mechanical assembly and/or relevant experience.

  • Ability to learn to navigate through operating system to find BOMs, drawings and instructions.

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.

  • Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.

  • Focus on attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.

  • Ability to learn how handle material responsibly.

  • Dependability and flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.
