Overview:

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Corporate Event Marketing Manager to support the execution of VerkadaOne, our annual customer conference, and VerkadaOne On the Road, our regional event series. VerkadaOne is our most important brand activation as well as a critical lever when it comes to driving pipeline for our business. Our most recent VerkadaOne, held this past September in Denver, CO, was attended by ~1200 prospects, customers, and partners and featured over 30 breakout sessions, industry training and certifications, high-profile keynote speakers, product announcements, and more. We are looking to grow this even further in the coming year and aim for it to one day be the Oktane or Dreamforce of the physical security industry.

About the role:

This role will play a critical part in building pipeline and brand visibility through high-impact corporate events and brand activations. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Marketing, you'll help plan and execute integrated event strategies, with a strong focus on demand generation, registration growth, and event performance measurement. You'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, sales, and product teams to craft compelling event experiences that deliver results. Responsibilities:

  • Event Support & Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of VerkadaOne and VerkadaOne On the Road, ensuring deadlines, on-site logistics, and deliverables stay on track.
  • Registration Growth & Demand Generation:Drive registration and audience acquisition by partnering closely with growth marketing and sales teams on targeted campaigns (email, paid media, content syndication, and webinars). Build out the event marketing funnel, identifying high-converting tactics to grow attendance.
  • Event Marketing & Campaign Development: Own the creation and execution of event marketing campaigns and nurture tracks to maximize registration and engagement across multiple channels (email, social, paid, web).
  • Website & Collateral Development: Assist in writing and maintaining event website content, speaker bios, agenda details, and marketing materials.
  • On-Site Brand Experience: Partner with design, product and sales teams to develop product demo stations and immersive brand experiences that reinforce messaging and drive deeper customer engagement.
  • Content & Speaker Coordination: Coordinate session content and speaker logistics, working with internal leaders, customer speakers, and external thought leaders.
  • Post-Event Reporting & Insights: Help analyze event success metrics, compile feedback, and suggest improvements for future events.


Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in B2B tech event, field marketing or demand generation role, with proven track record of driving registrations and pipeline through events.
  • Willingness to be onsite in San Mateo, CA, five days a week and travel occasionally for regional events.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and tracking performance metrics across channels
  • Experience building integrated marketing campaigns to support registration growth and lead generation.
  • Experience in event management and coordinating onsite event logistics.
  • A collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to work creatively and autonomously
  • Proficiency working in Salesforce, Marketo, and HubSpot

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
