Clinical Pharmacist Job Ref: 32182 Category: Pharmacy Location: Emerson Hospital, 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742 Department: Pharmacy Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day/Eve shift Hours: variable We're looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team. In this role, you'll be a key player in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for hospitalized patients. What You'll Do: Verify and dispense medications accurately for inpatient use Review medication orders for safety, efficacy, and compliance with hospital policy and guidelines Monitor patient therapies and lab results, recommending adjustments to treatment as needed Provide drug information and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and care teams Supervise and verify the work of pharmacy technicians/students Document clinical interventions Participate in the multidisciplinary care of the patient Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, USP, state/federal laws) What We're Looking For: PharmD or BSPharm Active pharmacist license in Massachusetts *Preferred* Prior inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience Prior sterile compounding experience or oversight of compounding *Desirable* Completion of a PGY1 residency Board certification (e.g., BCPS)
