As a Technical Delivery manager within the Delivery Coaching team, you will partner with your Technical Delivery peers and a dynamic team of Data Product Managers and Data Impact Partners to improve the visibility of deliverables across the Data Portfolio, cross-functionally and at an elevated perspective appropriate for product and business stakeholders. You will enable a shift from a reactive way of working to a more proactive one where there is an appropriate level of detail and a shared comprehension of project status, associated risks, and critical deadlines.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and guide contributors in maintaining a reliable source of project status to minimize time spent on sourcing, compiling, and distributing information for meetings and audiences.

  • Establish consistent ways to communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, providing them with access to necessary information.

  • Streamline project communications by reducing time dedicated to updates and managing recurrent issues related to escalations.

  • Surface a backlog of system-level improvements supporting your impact

  • You understand software product development and data engineering practices sufficiently to carry on meaningful delivery conversations.

  • Your communication is clear, concise and accurate.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science; or equivalent experience,

  • Comfort with software and data product development conversations

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or equivalent role in a fast-paced, SAAS product development organization.

  • Demonstrated experience guiding at least four teams through delivery of cross-team software product or data development projects, including launching at least two new projects.

  • Experience assessing and resolving delivery issues for a single team or group of teams, providing guidance, and collaborating with them to enable the solution they choose.

  • Proven track record of facilitating at least three different types of group working sessions such as milestone planning, risk mitigation conversations, and release retrospectives

  • Strong skills in improving visibility of deliverables across multiple teams and articulating these in a way that is useful to both product and business stakeholders.

  • Ability to determine and communicate the appropriate level of detail regarding project status, risks, and deadlines.

  • Travel required up to four times a year, a week at a time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ICP-ACC Agile Team Facilitator

  • CSP Certified ScrumProfessional

  • PMI-ACP Agile Certified Practitioner

  • ICF-ACC Associate Certified Coach

  • Certifications in data management or analytics

Compensation:

The hourly rate range for this role is $120.00 - $125.00
