Security Officer - Financial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a financial institution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors. You will provide excellent customer service and clear communication while responding to situations as they arise. This post requires driving as part of your responsibilities. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification, and following established procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or medical emergencies, as directed by site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required and must meet AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
