As a Fire Control Maintenance Dispatcher, you play a key role in delivering outstanding service to both internal and external guests. Using strong communication and customer service skills, you'll support guests, engineers, and various departments in achieving their goals. You'll be part of a professional, courteous, and collaborative team responsible for overseeing departmental operations related to the life safety system and facility management system. THE STARTING RATE:$19.00/hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Operate and manage computerized maintenance and life safety systems to prioritize tasks and dispatch the maintenance team. Complete routine administrative duties consistently and accurately Maintain awareness of cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention throughout the property. Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly and following up for satisfaction. Answer incoming calls, assist callers, or direct them to the appropriate department. Foster a positive work environment by greeting coworkers, offering thanks, and promoting teamwork. Stay informed about department goals and hotel information to assist guests effectively.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. 1+ years of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment required. 5+ years of prior relevant experience preferred in at least one of the following: computerized maintenance management system, building automation system operation, fire alarm system operation, computerized dispatching with heavy radio, telephone volume.
