Principal of Product Design HYBRID IN NYC
Overview: The Global Streaming Product Team is dedicated to creating exceptional streaming products that captivate customers worldwide. Our team collaborates closely with design, technology, and business units to deliver an unparalleled customer experience. We are currently forming a Global Streaming Product team to guide our core global product in meeting the business needs of various propositions. This team focuses on the user experience from the initial interest in purchasing a subscription through the entire purchase journey, including upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations. Position Summary: As the Principal of Product Design your role involves conceiving, defining, designing, developing, testing, and launching engaging and contextually relevant experiences that drive results. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver end-to-end UX for high-value, consumer-centric digital products. * Translate requirements into user flows, leveraging existing ones or establishing new flows. * Enhance the fidelity of UX flows while addressing edge cases and nuances across various devices. * Collaborate with foundational leads in UX research, UX engineering, design systems, and UX writing. * Formulate and communicate ideas and plans to peers, leadership, and engineering contributors. * Balance inputs from business, design, research, technology, and external partners. * Work with product owners and engineers to successfully bring products to market. * Develop talent and provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers. * Apply a human-centered design approach to evolve our output and process. * Maintain a critical eye and obsessive attention to detail. * Advocate for a healthy and collaborative culture within our product organization.
