THE JOB: The primary responsibility of the Surveillance Shift Manager is to oversee the daily operations of their shift, ensuring compliance with company policies, departmental procedures, and Gaming Commission regulations. The Surveillance Shift Manager also plays a key role in maintaining game protection and ensuring the safety and security of both guests and employees. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Oversee the activities of all Surveillance Operators during shifts, ensuring efficient CCTV operations, accurate daily reporting, and proper management of video evidence. Report any equipment repair needs to the technical team. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and thorough documentation of all observations during assigned shifts. Review video footage and reports for specific incidents, such as jackpots, guest complaints, procedural errors, risk management issues, theft, and variances. Serve as the main point of contact with the state Gaming Regulator for incidents involving cheating or customer complaints, and coordinate with various external agencies as needed. Manage shift schedules and responsibilities for the Surveillance team, ensuring adequate coverage and smooth operations. Ensure consistency in Surveillance operations by enforcing SOPs and administering disciplinary actions when necessary.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in gaming surveillance. Prior experience in a supervisor, lead, or managerial role.
