Job Title: Seasonal Program Lead/Summer Day Camp Lead FLSA Status: Seasonal Full Time - non-exempt Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Rate of Pay: $20/hr Closing Date: 05/25/2025 Benefits: Standard; Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Seasonal employees are eligible for but not limited to the following:
Scope of Position/Essential Functions: The Summer Day Camp Leader assists the On-Site Program Director in operating the Corps summer program. This includes maintaining the Divisional standards, as well as having direct, daily involvement with the students. The Program Leader also may be assigned several different responsibilities by the On-Site Program Director depending on the needs of the program and their skill set. Some of those may include assessing inventory needs, administering proper record keeping, securing parental permissions, outcome documentation, facilitating program components, and sustaining specific health and safety standards. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Education and Work Experience: Local Program Leaders must be at least eighteen years of age and demonstrate an ability to work with children. Program Leaders must have at least three months full-time or equivalent part-time verifiable experience with school-age children. Within 30 days of hiring, you must submit fingerprints and certifications in First Aid, CPR, Medication Administration, and Universal Precautions from a nationally recognized provider. Software-related skills: Microsoft Word and Excel, and email required. Working knowledge of integrated database applications and the ability to use new software programs with basic training. Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver. Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead. Ability to operate telephone. Ability to lift to 25 pounds, Ability to access and produce information from a computer, Ability to understand written information.
