Description The role is a junior underwriting or junior processing position on the TPO (third-party originator) broker side, focused on income and asset validation. The main responsibilities include using the company's guidelines, training, and tools to analyze data and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate should have the ability to learn, be organized, utilize resources, and take good notes. Prior experience as a processor or in junior underwriting is preferred, as they would have seen tax returns and bank statements. * Perform complex data and document validation * Complete appraisal eligibility tasks * Evaluate loan applications for compliance with product guidelines * Perform other related duties as required and assigned * Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values Qualifications: * Associate's degree or equivalent work experience * 3+ years of relevant work experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred * General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
