Consumer Loans Collections Assistant
The Consumer Loans Collection Assistant provides accurate and timely administrative support for the Consumer Loans Collection Department. This may include tracking information, gathering data from multiple sources, and creating reports and presentations. Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for schedule meetings, make appointments and calendar management for multiple personnel.
- Coordinate manager's schedule: intercept phone calls and resolve issues on manager's behalf.
- Answer phone, type, summarize and edit reports, customer service responsibilities including handling customer requests, and redirecting inquiries.
- Follow up to ensure processes are completed in a timely manner. May interact with other departments to obtain needed information or request that certain actions be taken.
- Responsible for maintaining files and other record keeping systems.
- Knowledge of offsets for DDA and Consumer Accounts required.
- Pull credit bureaus and resolve dispute issues. Knowledge of Archiving for REO Files, and
- Ability to Identify Consumer Customers from Special Service Reports.
- Responsible for keeping confidential information.
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.)
- One year of experience in Admin Asst or clerical role
- One year of experience in Consumer Loans and/or Mortgage Administration, preferred
- One year of experience utilizing Microsoft Products including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position includes onsite and remote work days.
