DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Fiscal Technician performs a wide variety of accounting functions and assists with ensuring compliance with all requirements for the fiscal operations of the Lebanon County Mental Health, Intellectual Disabilities and Early Intervention (MH/ID/EI) Programs. Work involves assisting with the preparation and maintenance of a variety of county, state and federal fiscal, accounting and banking records, financial statements and reports, and client accounts. Your duties and responsibilities will include work in budgeting, accounting, and fiscal monitoring. Additional duties to include but not limited to:
- Creating invoices for Mental Health commitments and tracking incoming checks
- Maintaining a list of outstanding invoices
- Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual plans and expenditure reports as related to the budget
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of systems for the collection and analysis of service-related statistical data, matching data with appropriate funding streams
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or
- Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
- One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
