Job Summary

The Network Administrator II provides both remote and on-site technical support for networking and telecommunication systems through design, implementation, testing, and maintenance focusing on LANs, WANs, network segments, and internet and intranet systems. The desirable candidate is professional with a customer service focus, organized, works with a sense of urgency, and communicates clearly and effectively both with customers and co-workers. This position is located in Tulsa, OK and is required to work in the office at least 3 days per week.


Essential Functions

  • Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values".
  • Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics".
  • Responds to assigned Service Desk work orders within established guidelines.
  • Serves as the escalation point for the infrastructure administrator team.
  • Gathers business assessment and provides troubleshooting such as switch and router issues, firewall configuration service outages, and work order routing and escalation to Level 3 support. May also escalate to an outside vendor as needed.
  • Gathers and analyzes information about the user's issue and determines the best way to resolve their problem.
  • Recognizes the technical needs of our customers, articulates the business needs and has an understanding of solution identification.
  • Establishes and maintains healthy working relationships with clients, vendors and peers.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in network technology including WAN, LAN, and Wireless support
  • Associates degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent job-related experience/knowledge.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware, network, and WIFI troubleshooting methods.
  • Experience with Microsoft and Linux, including network configuration and connectivity testing.
  • Familiar with Cisco IOS, AOS 10, Juniper Junos, Arista EOS.
  • Working knowledge of TCP, IP, BGP, VPN, and tools such as WireShark, TCP Dump, Naios, PRTG, NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX, nmapp.
  • Proficient in SSH and Telnet, IPAM,
  • Ability to discuss and configure VLANs, STP, Azure Virtual LAN, NSGs, Azure DNS, Azure DHCP, Private endpoints and Azure Netflow.
  • Ability to configure VPN connectivity using TSL/SSL know the difference between them.
  • Strong to expert-level understanding of the OSI model, with the ability to apply , to discuss and troubleshoot different layers of network connectivity.
  • Experience with Terraforms, Ansible, Puppet, Chef or other infrastructure as code and deployment automation technologies is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service orientation with problem solving and troubleshooting skills.


Physical/Special Requirements:



  • This position will require working outside of normal business hours upon occasion.
  • Up to 15% travel to job sites and office locations required.
