The Founding Program Manager for the Silicon Valley AI Hub (SVAI) will play a pivotal role in establishing Snowflake's brand new co-working and events space in Menlo Park by sourcing and developing high-impact programming specifically for developers and startups looking to advance in AI. This position will be responsible for creating valuable learning experiences, technical workshops, and networking opportunities that help our community build with and upskill in AI technologies. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, our 28,000 square foot space serves as the nexus for AI innovation, connecting executives, engineers, and entrepreneurs in a collaborative environment. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
  • Build strategic relationships with AI community organizers in the Bay Area to host developer-focused and startup-oriented events at SVAI Hub

  • Work with internal subject matter experts and program managers at Snowflake to create technical programming that empowers developers to build with AI

  • Curate a diverse mix of AI content spanning meetups, hands-on workshops, and technical demonstrations tailored to developers and startups

  • Drive awareness and registration among Bay Area technical audiences through our newsletter, website, social channels, and third-party placements

  • Collaborate with the Snowflake Startups team to organize demo days and specialized events that strengthen startup partnerships within the Snowflake ecosystem

  • Coordinate with SVAI workplace team to seamlessly execute on event programming

  • Align closely with the Customer Experience Center (CEC) on space utilization, balancing executive engagements with community meetups, and startup activities

  • Track and report on individual event as well as collective program success metrics

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • 4+ years of experience in developer relations, technical community building, VC community building, or program management within AI or related technical fields

  • Understanding of the tech ecosystem and the unique needs of our distinct audiences

  • Strong relationship-building skills with technical communities and startup organizations

  • Proven ability to develop & execute technical events that drive meaningful engagement

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with audiences ranging from C-suite executives to developers

  • Data-driven approach to measuring program impact and optimizing future initiatives

  • Passion for AI innovation and creating spaces where diverse stakeholders can learn, build, and collaborate

  • Ability to work out of the Menlo Park office up to 5 days per week

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $148,000 - $206,800.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
