Your Role With Us:

Unit Location: 4th floor, Building B North

Size of Unit, Number of Beds and Number of Treatment Areas: 20 private rooms with shared bathrooms and 4 private rooms with private bathrooms. The unit also features a therapy gym, ADL practice apartment, and therapeutic courtyard.

The In-Patient Rehabilitation unit provides structured interdisciplinary rehabilitation and nursing care to a diverse population with diagnoses of traumatic brain injury, stroke, above/below knee amputation, spinal fracture, hip replacement, debility, and patients with multiple comorbidities. Patients receive a minimum of three hours of therapy per day, in a structured environment. Rehab nurses work with patients to monitor medical needs, build on learned therapeutic techniques, provide education to support the healing process, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for best patient outcomes. Inpatient rehabilitation nurses bring varied levels of experience and take pride in the holistic approach, interdisciplinary care plan, and therapeutic techniques they master to move patients through the barriers of their disability. The inter-professional team also includes a physiatrist on site daily.

2025 New Grad Residency Cohort Dates: February 24th, April 21st, July 28th, August 25th, September 22nd, October 20th.

Background/Expertise:

  • Requires BSN or non-nursing Bachelor's Degree with MSN. Bachelor of Arts in nursing also accepted. Candidates with an Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) also encouraged to apply. *Required to sign agreement to complete BSN within three (3) years of hire required.
  • Less than one (1) year of nursing experience required.
  • Unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon required one week prior to hire date.
  • BLS required.
