Essential Job Duties |

Environmental Services department is seeking a dedicated
Senior Crew Leader to help us maintain clean, safe, and efficient campus spaces.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate and lead daily operations, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of projects- Direct team members on AiM work orders, tracking progress and ensuring updates are recorded
- Conduct regular building inspections and provide condition reports to management
- Train and mentor staff on safe work practices and procedures for inclement weather and special projects
- Lead responses to building emergencies and ensure appropriate safety protocols are followed
- Manage inventory using AiM and MarketPlace, ensuring adequate supply levels and proper usage
- Organize transportation for staff and materials; reassign work as needed to cover absences
Report equipment damage, oversee key control, and follow department SOPs- Conduct safety briefings and assign project teams to meet departmental goals
- Document injuries or safety incidents and ensure proper medical attention and reporting
- Assist with scheduling and work assignments based on operational demands

Other Responsibilities |
- This is a critical role position and is essential to the operations of the University. The position may be required to work during adverse weather conditions and work even if the University closes. May aid in snow removal as directed by supervisors
- Working knowledge and experience with various equipment, including auto scrubbers, burnishers, carpet extractors, dry scrub machines, wet/dry vacuums, dehumidifiers, Kaivacs, blowers, pressure washers, and vacuums, as well as the use and application of floor finish strippers and maintainers
- Work in conjunction with several zone managers to support cross-zone collaboration, recommend staff for recognition or advancement based on performance, and ensure teamwork aligns with division leadership goals
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education |
High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Some positions may require Certification or eligibility for Certification. |
Other Required Qualifications |
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and the general public. Must be able to follow instructions and other communications regarding assignments and other matters
- Experience utilizing spreadsheets for tracking completed spaces and managing supply orders
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds frequently and up to 90 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience within an institutional or commercial cleaning environment
- Preferred training includes MarketPlace (Supply Ordering/Req. Mgmt.), inventory management & control, budgeting, Wolf Report, timesheet management, SOP development, data security, phone etiquette, and intermediate proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, MS Word/Google Docs, and MS PowerPoint/Google Slides.
