Your Role With Us:As the Assistant Nurse Manager of the Operating Room, you'll support the Nurse Manager in overseeing daily operations of the unit, ensuring high standards of patient care, staff engagement, and service excellence. This role plays a key part in strategic planning, patient flow, quality improvement initiatives, and staff development. The Assistant Nurse Manager provides leadership during the Nurse Manager's absence, promotes a culture of safety and accountability, and fosters a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical knowledge, effective communication, and the ability to mentor and lead a diverse team. Consideration will be given to ADN nurse if agree to complete BSN or MSN within three (3) years of hire into the position. Must sign agreement regarding BSN completion. Must obtain BSN within the 3 years to remain in the ANM position. Note: ANMs who were hired as an ADN prior to June 2023 and remain in the ANM role, are not required to obtain BSN.Basic Life Support certification required.Current unencumbered license to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon required.Two (2) years minimum acute care RN experience required.
