Preform plant maintenance. Preventative maintenance on aggregate processing equipment. Maintenance tasks include belt conveyors, belt splicing, changing bearing, greasing, and replacing wear parts. Must be able to weld and do fabrication of chutes and various items. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have maintenance experience. Must have experience working with heavy mobile equipment. Must have the ability to operate mobile equipment. Must be a motivated, "take charge" type of person who works well independently. Must follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments while maintaining a safe work environment and safe work habits. Must have reliable transportation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach and signal with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is required to sit at times for long periods. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employees must have 20/40 vision, either naturally or with corrective lenses.
