Residential Route Driver

Mega Disposal is looking for a safety conscience Residential Route Driver to join our team in Seekonk, MA. Drivers interested in secure, steady employment in a family atmosphere are encouraged to apply.

Position Start Date: Monday 5/12/2025

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30am start time / 50 to 55 hours per week. Saturday's as needed.

Pay rate: $27.00 per hour (Overtime Eligible)

Our priority is to make sure we hire safe drivers that care about the service provided to the community. As a driver with us the minimum responsibilities are:

• Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste. Waste experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Performing routine post and pre route inspections on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
• Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
