Haskell provides integrated delivery of capital projects across a wide range of markets, and now we are looking for a Market Leader to pave the way for a new market - Power Transmission.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy
    • Define the vision and strategic direction of the Power Transmission market
    • Lead business development initiatives by creating account plans, pursuing new opportunities, and managing proposal efforts.
    • Enhance operational efficiency through process standardization and the implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Client Engagement
    • Serve as the primary client interface, reporting on project progress, costs, schedules, and risks.
    • Where client needs and services are not defined, seeks to understand client criteria and documents what is needed for effective delivery of the project.
  • Building a Team
    • Partner with Haskell's talent acquisition team to evaluate and align staffing strategies with project requirements, ensuring the right expertise is in place at the right time.
  • Executing the Work
    • Directs and is accountable for all aspects of the design effort.
    • Responsible for coordination among disciplines and conformance to corporate standards for design documents.
    • Provide leadership in project teaming and integration of design and construction staff.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in utility project management with direct experience working for or consulting to an electric utility
  • Successful track record of business development and leading a team
  • Experience with utility capital project execution, contract management, and risk mitigation

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
