POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Position Overview

McCallie Associates, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, has an exciting opportunity for an Automation Engineer - SME who will implement automation solutions by translating designs from Senior DevOps Engineers into functional scripts, tools, and workflows; create and maintain frameworks for testing, deployment, and system monitoring to streamline processes and enhance efficiency; collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and ensure seamless integration into existing systems; troubleshoot and optimize automation processes to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Automate Implementation: Translate designs into functional automation scripts, tools, and workflows.
• Framework Development: Create and maintain frameworks for automated testing, deployment (CI/CD), and system monitoring.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with development, operations, and other teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Process Improvement: Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize automation processes for better reliability and performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in languages like Python or Bash.
• Experience with tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong communication and troubleshooting abilities.
• 14 Years Experience
• Ability to gain and retain Top Secret Clearance.

Pay range:$140,000 to $170,000 per year
