Organizational Unit Overview |
It is the mission of the Department of Pediatrics, East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine, to provide exemplary medical education/training of physicians in pediatric medicine at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, it is the mission of the department to provide model comprehensive primary and consultative subspecialty care to children of eastern North Carolina, advance scientific knowledge through basic and clinical research, and provide continuing medical education opportunities for physicians in the region. |
Job Duties |
This position with the maintenance of current and previous residents' files, which involves but not limited to schedules, evaluations, attendance, letters, and some post-graduate data to adhere to
ACGME,
GME, and pediatric specialty guidelines. Data input into MedHub, Thalamus, and other software utilized by the residency program. Assist with event planning such as graduation, intern orientation, and yearly resident retreats. Oversee travel expenses, resident education funds, and purchasing for residency program. Serve as an instrumental part of residency recruitment season. |
Minimum Education/Experience |
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. |
