Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ICU Clinical Supervisor to join our team. This role involves supervising ICU staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support clinical excellence. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will also act as a mentor, leader, and resource for nursing staff while maintaining the operational integrity of the unit.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily operations and staff assignments in the ICU.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care.
* Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
* Monitor quality metrics and implement performance improvement initiatives.
* Assist in the development and implementation of staff education and training programs.
* Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
* Participate in hiring, onboarding, and evaluating ICU staff performance.
* Serve as an advocate for patients, families, and staff within the ICU.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Washington, DC (or eligible to obtain before start date).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience.
  • Previous leadership or charge nurse experience in an ICU setting preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
