Knowledge of group fitness teaching strategies and the incorporation of music, choreography, and cueing technique. Ability to be professional and motivate class participants. Cooperates and works well with other staff members. Must be able to teach evening classes.
Minimum qualifications & Requirements
Requires graduation from accredited High School, or General Equivalency Diploma, with specialized course work in fitness instruction. Possess a national group fitness certification (ACE, AFFA) or equivalent. Additional specialty certifications are required for instruction classes such as Yoga, Cycling, TRX, Zumba, and Pilates. Applicants should be a minimum of 18 years of age.
